Habitat Sends Global Village Team to Cambodia
Posted on by merrillmHabitat for Humanity Seattle/South King County sent a team of seven volunteers to Cambodia for the Khmer Harvest Build. The Khmer Harvest Build was a remarkable opportunity for over 350 volunteers from around the globe to come together and work alongside Cambodian families to build 22 homes, a community center, and cultivate a 2-hectare farm; all in the span of five days.
Through their hard work, our team built one of 22 homes and also improved the families’ access to basic services such as electricity and clean water. Thank you and congratulations to our Seattle/South King County Team for their dedication and enthusiasm. They made a tremendous difference in so many lives. Also special thanks to Walt Beerman, for taking on the responsibility of team lead!
